Teaching an AI agent to understand nuance
How do you teach AI to understand nuance? That’s the kind of engineering challenge we love at Prodigal.
At last weekend’s #GenAI #Hackathon, we built an AI agent that automates QA processes—a complex engineering task. The goal? Create a system that listens to calls, fills out scorecards, and provides subjective answers with contextual accuracy.
The real challenge wasn’t just building it—it was making it smart. From understanding call nuances to tracking trends in agent behavior, this wasn’t a simple GPT wrapper. We designed it with high-quality datasets and crafted prompts to ensure domain-specific accuracy. As YC’s discussion on vertical LLMs emphasized, solving these subtle problems is where the true innovation lies.
The result? QA teams get time back to focus on what matters most—training and growth. Solving real-world problems like this is why I love working at Prodigal.
