Notes from Prodigal's first AI event in Bengaluru

We at Prodigal hosted our first AI event in Bengaluru this Saturday. From product demos showing how AI is used in the real-world by Leading entertainment businesses to how cutting edge Gen AI is being used for State of the Art performance, it was a wonderful event to listen into.

1. Bharath Kumar Mohan, CEO Sensara Technologies presented their Platform that had solved for hard Computer Vision problems which the entertainment industry faces (like shot selection, personalized curation of posters) using well-optimized engineering w/ SOTA models.

2. Venkata Pingali, CEO Scribble Data presented some of the Gen-AI first agents and software, and provided his opinions having battled out building AI-led solutions for leading Fortune 500 Insurance Companies.

3. Sangram Raje, CTO Prodigal presented how we have architected the Hyperpersonalization Intelligence Suite by marrying Traditional ML with Generative AI at its core.

4. Abhishek Choudhary, CTO TrueFoundry showed how hard deploying and serving large ML models (which inevitably include LLMs :) ), and what their service is. With the mission to make DevOps and Deployments as frictionless as possible, we also got to see how they have created an AI agent for frictionless deployment of an app.

5. Nirav Bhan, Lead ML Floworks had his creation - a State of the Art Function Caller for Hubspot by using some of the simpler LLMs combined with their core IP of a better method to retrieve APIs from documentation and by creating a simpler language for APIs (but Turing complete).

Fun to interact with folks who are at different stages of adopting AI (GenAI or not) to solve some new problems for their customers. Was also amazed at the technical talent that Bangalore has!

PS - Shameless plug - we are hiring at Prodigal across Bangalore and Mumbai (for those who love the city that never sleeps ;) ). Link in comments for those interested.
