99% of the way is 0% of the experience
99% of the way = 0% of the experience, Garry Tan articulates it vividly. https://lnkd.in/ghdKqqXG
The consumer notices that solving 99% of the problem is not solving it.
The bottom line notices & gives fodder to McKinsey & Company & likes to publish eye catching reports .. but first
You notice that more relentless work lies ahead.
Here is what I've found to push beyond 99% at Prodigal
1. Team: The more things change the more they remain the same. Even more important to have a cofounder (Sangram) and team that just doesn't settle for good but pursues excellence
2. Scorecard: Create objective QA program, benchmarks & eval sets that allows the team to Andon without fear.
3. Partners: Find customers & champions that are unforgiving and patient at the same time. Who believe in the power of tech / AI to change industries more than looking for a quick promotion. So lucky to have a dozen partners who embody this each day.
